Earlier this Summer, I wrote about the Heirloom Christmas Ornaments I make for my family. It’s time for me to get ready to make more. I was able to place a special order with Michael’s to buy several dozen of the red 2 1/2 in Flexible Frames that I use to finish each ornament. The order took about 4 weeks to arrive, but it sure beats trying to buy them in lots of 2 or 3 at a time.
My next step will be to choose the designs I want to stitch for each person. I’ll be looking at my various books for inspiration: 365 Tiny Cross Stitch Motifs, 555 Christmas Cross-Stitch Designs, and Mini Cross Stitch Ornaments. The last book is available for purchase on our website.
It’s already September so I need to get going on them!
