12 Tiny Samplers to celebrate the year

If stitching a full size traditional sampler seems too daunting, try stitching 12 tiny samplers instead. These adorable and charming little samplers fit the seasons and each month of the year and look fabulous as a grouping consisting of all twelve. They would also make great birthday gifts, stitched up on cards, bookmarks or in small frames for that special friend. http://www.koolerdesign.com/shopproductdetail.aspx?ProductID=1602&StoreSect

Primrose Path by Barbara Baatz Hillman

Our classic Primrose Path is back in time for spring! Barbara Baatz Hillman has created a beautiful combination of blues, greens and yellows to show off these beautiful primroses. The added background butterfly design makes this one a stand out. This design would work equally well in needlepoint as there is no back-stitching: http://www.koolerdesign.com/shopproductdetail.aspx?ProductID=1604&StoreSect

Koi Fish are back

023-0323 Koi FishOne of our most beautiful designs ever created. This Asian Koi Fish design is breathtaking and will stitch up equally well in needlepoint as well as cross stitch since there is no back stitching. The design calls for DMC Gold Light Effects for added luster and shine: http://www.koolerdesign.com/shopproductdetail.aspx?ProductID=1607&StoreSect

Just Cross Stitch Magazine Spring Floral Cross

our lovely stitched Spring Floral Cross using luscious Sullivan's threads.

our lovely stitched Spring Floral Cross using luscious Sullivan’s threads.

Just opened the March/April issue of Just Cross Stitch Magazine to see the first of four brand new floral cross designs by our very own Linda Gillum. They are all stitched on mello Cashel linen from Picture This Plus… and use gorgeous threads by Sullivan’s USA, including overdyed and metallic threads and Mill Hill seed beads for a dimensional design that blooms with color! But you can only get the pattern from JCS magazine! ~Basha

And you can find them in gift shops across the US.  ~Basha

Free Hebrew Alphabet Project

This lovely tip towel that was stitched by Marny spells the word Towel. It was made as a gift for her rabbi and his wife. She used the chart for the Hebrew Alphabet that we offer for free download on our website.

What a beautiful work of love . It will be treasured by the family as a unique and personal gift.

Baby Cross Stitch Hutch

Here is the finished picture of one of  the new baby hutches that we added to the website.  I stitched the piece for my newest baby niece. It would equally appropriate for a boy baby. Our kit comes with the constructed wooden ‘hutch’ style frame ready to finish in the paint color of your choice.

Just stitch the personalized heart in blue and you’re good to go. It looks so cute painted in a sky blue color that either offsets the pink heart or would coordinate with a heart stitched in blue floss.  This design works well for either a boy or a girl.

This is a unique way to frame a birth record and will be welcomed by any new mother as a treasured keepsake. This is an economical gift to make because the frame is included with the kit. With the price of custom framing going up all of the time, it’s nice to get the finishing materials included with the kit.
